Snowsports School
Located in The Mountain Project Headquarters (TMP), the Red Snowsports School provides a safe and enjoyable learning experience for skiers and snowboarders of all ages and abilities. Our certified instructors are happy to share their knowledge of the sport and Red Mountain Resort with you.Beginner
Learn to ski or snowboard in our new and improved beginner area featuring two surface lifts and gentle, progressive slopes.Intermediate
The new Silverlode chairlift and Paradise area offer access to wide groomed runs for improving your technique.Advanced
Looking for some tips to give your technique a boost and take full advantage of the terrain at Red? Ski or ride powder, trees, bumps and more with the guidance of a professional instructor. Instruction programs include:
Kinderski
One hour of childcare, two hour ski lesson and après-ski hot chocolate for children 3 – 5 years old.
Private Lessons
Individual instruction is the best way to improve your technique.
Group Lessons
Learn to ski and enjoy the camaraderie of a group setting.
Ski / Snowboard Discovery
Rental equipment, beginner lift ticket and two hour lesson.
Other Programs Avalanche courses, 3-day camps, 8-week programs, powder clinics, backcountry guiding and more. Red offers a wide variety of programs to suit all ages, abilities, budgets and schedules. New for 2007/2008
The Magic Carpet has been realigned to a new location; behind the Kindercare building and TMP HQ. The slope is the perfect pitch for anyone learning to ski or snowboard. The Magic Carpet also aligns to access the T-bar and Red's terrain park.Opening this season is the new Dopplemayr CTEC quad chairlift. This new Silverlode chair aligns to directly access new beginner and intermediate terrain and offers perfect learning opportunities for beginners!

Leandra Furber, Director
Red's new Director of Snowsports, Leandra Furber, will ensure that everyone gets the full range of training and instruction. Her programs are designed to maximize improvement and encourage development.
