Winter Event Volunteer
Position Summary:
- Provide assistance with the execution of RED Mountain events
- Performing tasks such as setup, tear down, registration of event participants, manning event stations, setting up safety netting, moving event equipment, etc.
- Act as an ambassador of RED Mountain in a professional and courteous manner
Qualification:
- Open and flexible availability (including mid-week shifts) from December 2024 – April 6, 2024
- Must be available for 5-8 shifts: January 29 – February 2 and Feb 7-10 for the Canadian Open Freeride Championships
- Must be available for 2-3 shifts: March 21-23 for the Ski Mountaineering Canada Cup Series
- Ability to take direction and work well with others
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Preferably a strong skier or snowboarder, though this is not a necessity
- Must have a positive attitude
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
