Festival FAQs

Check out our FAQs below! This is just the start of a growing list as we continue to build out and share more details with you all. If you have a question that hasn’t been answered below, just fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you ASAP!

Times:

  • Thurs Sept 7, 2023: 1pm – 6pm
  • Fri Sept 8, 2023: 1pm – 6pm
  • Sat Sept 9, 2023: 10am – 2pm
  • Mon Sept 11, 2023: 9am – 4pm

What to bring:

  • Ticket (this will be scanned when you arrive in exchange for your wristbands). DO NOT MISPLACE WRISTBANDS as you will not receive another one if you lose your wristband in advance of the festival.
  • Merch Receipt/Email Confirmation – if you have pre-purchased merchandise please bring your receipt in exchange for your goods!

WHERE:

  • Please come inside the main lodge to the Guest Services Desk. If someone is not there to assist you please knock on the door or call ext 230.

WHY:

  • Beat the line up and get your wristbands early! This means you can skip the wristband pick up on event day and are only subject to a quick search upon entry.
  • If that isn’t enough to get you up here – you will also be entered to win a 3-Day Locals Only Card, just for coming up early. Don’t they say early-bird gets the worm or in our case some free skiing!

What does that mean? This means most areas will require your credit, Interac, e-wallet, or Apple Pay to make purchases, like at most food and beer vendors, the merch table, etc.

There will be a limited number of areas that may also accept cash (like our drink token window, and possibly a food vendor or two) but there are no ATMs on site.

**Please note that the Delicious Greek Food Truck will be cash-only.

Permitted:

  • Empty, refillable water bottles (free water stations will be available)
  • Foldable Camping Chairs (max 34”H)
  • Bags/Backpacks (25L max)
    • Backpacks and purses are permitted within the festival grounds but are subject to being searched upon entry.
  • Blankets
  • Small personal umbrellas

Not Permitted:

  • Outside Food & Beverage
  • Illegal substances, alcohol
  • Coolers
  • Glass
  • Fireworks, Candles or Torches
  • Weapons
  • Animals (Service animals are exempt with appropriate documentation)
  • Professional recording equipment (including Drones)
  • Sun tents
  • No Smoking on Festival Grounds

In an effort to reduce single-use plastic, all guests drinking alcohol at the festival will be required to purchase an official Between The Peaks-branded Steel Chill-Cup from the Drink Token Booth (@ the RED ticket window). These souvenir cups are yours to keep – please be sure to bring these back for day 2 if you have a 2-day pass! Each festival cup also includes your first drink token. Additional 12oz pour drink tokens can be purchased for $7 each.

You will exchange your printed ticket or scan your mobile ticket in exchange for your wristband at the entry gates upon arriving at the festival (or during designated pre-pick-up dates at the RED Mountain base lodge). You will not be allowed to enter the festival unless wearing your own, valid wristband.

Treat your wristband like cash—it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. The wristband should remain on your wrist throughout the festival and overnight for the next day if you have a 2-Day Pass. No wristband, no entry.

Entrance to the festival venue is allowed only with a valid and undamaged wristband. No replacement tickets/wristbands will be issued under any circumstances if lost, damaged or unusable for any other reason. The event organizers will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged tickets/wristbands.

Only wristbands purchased from the official festival website via tickit.ca are valid. Do not purchase wristbands from third parties or strangers. Take care of your wristband and treat it like cash. Wristbands are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Wristbands will be treated as void if tampered with or removed. Do not cut it.

Guests will be allowed exit and re-entry privileges. Entrance into the entertainment area is controlled by security, festival, and ticketing personnel. All entrants must wear a valid event wristband. All entrants are subject to a pat down and bag search upon entering the entertainment area each time they enter. RED Mountain Resort reserves the right to search all people and property to ensure the security of all attendees.

Please note that no tailgating or open alcohol containers will be allowed in the parking lot. Security will be patrolling the lot and there will be an increased RCMP presence. RED Mountain Resort reserves the right to confiscate wristbands and revoke your festival entrance if you are caught breaking any of these policies.

Yes! There will be picnic tables spread throughout the venue both on the ground level and up on the VIP deck seating. Chairs (with specific height requirements) and blankets will also be allowed in designated areas on the festival grounds.

Yes. We plan to have a shuttle schedule to and from Rossland that also includes a stop in Warfield and Trail to the festival and back.

This year, RV camping in the lot will not be allowed, but we hope to develop that plan as an addition to the festival next year. If you’re coming from out of town and want to camp – check out Rossland Lions Campground!

The festival will utilise the natural slopes and stunning amphitheater-like setting at the base of Red & Granite Mountains. There will be generous viewing areas across 2 stages set around RED Mountain Resorts day lodge and base area.

Food and drink vendors will be comfortably spread throughout the festival grounds, including beer gardens, merch booth, and base lodge deck access.

We aim to present world-class celebrations of music and art by bringing in both national and international acclaimed artists from a variety of regions and genres. Our goal is to have Between the Peaks also be a strong supporter and encourager of the professional artists within our community while introducing thousands of new eyes to the beauty of Rossland and RED during the summer and fall seasons.
