2024 Festival FAQs

Check out our FAQs below! This is just the start of a growing list as we continue to build out and share more details with you all. If you have a question that hasn’t been answered below, just fill out the form below and we’ll get back to you ASAP!

Dates & Times TBD

  • Thurs Sept 7, 2023: 1pm – 6pm
  • Fri Sept 8, 2023: 1pm – 6pm
  • Sat Sept 9, 2023: 10am – 2pm
  • Mon Sept 11, 2023: 9am – 4pm

What to bring:

  • Ticket (this will be scanned when you arrive in exchange for your wristbands). DO NOT MISPLACE WRISTBANDS as you will not receive another one if you lose your wristband in advance of the festival.
  • Merch Receipt/Email Confirmation – if you have pre-purchased merchandise please bring your receipt in exchange for your goods!

WHERE:

  • Please come inside the main lodge to the Guest Services Desk. If someone is not there to assist you please knock on the door or call ext 230.

WHY:

  • Beat the line up and get your wristbands early! This means you can skip the wristband pick up on event day and are only subject to a quick search upon entry.

What does that mean? This means most areas will require your credit, Interac, e-wallet, or Apple Pay to make purchases, like at most food and beer vendors, the merch table, etc.

There will be a limited number of areas that may also accept cash (like our drink token window, and possibly a food vendor or two) but there are no ATMs on site.

Permitted:

  • Empty, refillable water bottles (free water stations will be available)
  • Foldable Camping Chairs (max 34”H)
  • Bags/Backpacks (25L max)
    • Backpacks and purses are permitted within the festival grounds but are subject to being searched upon entry.
  • Blankets
  • Small personal umbrellas

Not Permitted:

  • Outside Food & Beverage
  • Illegal substances, alcohol
  • Coolers
  • Glass
  • Fireworks, Candles or Torches
  • Weapons
  • Animals (Service animals are exempt with appropriate documentation)
  • Professional recording equipment (including Drones)
  • Sun tents
  • No Smoking on Festival Grounds

You will exchange your printed ticket or scan your mobile ticket in exchange for your wristband at the entry gates upon arriving at the festival (or during designated pre-pick-up dates at the RED Mountain base lodge). You will not be allowed to enter the festival unless wearing your own, valid wristband.

Treat your wristband like cash—it cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. The wristband should remain on your wrist throughout the festival and overnight for the next day if you have a 2-Day Pass. No wristband, no entry.

Entrance to the festival venue is allowed only with a valid and undamaged wristband. No replacement tickets/wristbands will be issued under any circumstances if lost, damaged or unusable for any other reason. The event organizers will not be held responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged tickets/wristbands.

Only wristbands purchased from the official festival website via tickit.ca are valid. Do not purchase wristbands from third parties or strangers. Take care of your wristband and treat it like cash. Wristbands are non-transferable and non-exchangeable. Wristbands will be treated as void if tampered with or removed. Do not cut it.

Guests will be allowed exit and re-entry privileges. Entrance into the entertainment area is controlled by security, festival, and ticketing personnel. All entrants must wear a valid event wristband. All entrants are subject to a pat down and bag search upon entering the entertainment area each time they enter. RED Mountain Resort reserves the right to search all people and property to ensure the security of all attendees.

Please note that no tailgating or open alcohol containers will be allowed in the parking lot. Security will be patrolling the lot and there will be an increased RCMP presence. RED Mountain Resort reserves the right to confiscate wristbands and revoke your festival entrance if you are caught breaking any of these policies.
