Decide Which Top Bartender Gets Crowned the Kootenay’s Best Caesar Maker!

You wear a toque. You say ‘zed’. You live eight hours from the nearest beach but you drink clam nectar every day. The only thing more Canadian than a killer Caesar is a killer Caesar while watching curling. SWEEP! On March 29th, 2pm-6pm, Canada’s unspoken national drink gets its due. Clam SLAM: The Kootenay Caesar Showdown! A fun contest to see who makes the best Caesar in the Koots.

We expect 300 thirsty clam-broth/tomato/vodka enthusiasts and the best barkeeps in the region to all roll up their sleeves in the name of cocktails, Canada, and Kootenay bragging rights. The event will be accompanied by a live DJ as well as an extensive outside barbecue feast for all to enjoy!

Taste the creations, and judge their caesar displays! The following awards will be given at the end of the event – so be sure to pick your favorite! head, tunes to groove to, food to fill the stomach, and of a course a beer in your hand – all right on the snow next to the famous Red Chair!
