Where do I pick up my bike?
Reserved bicycles can be picked up at Revolution Cycles at 1990 A Columbia Ave in downtown Rossland. Business hours are 10-5:30 during the week, 9 to 5:30 on Saturdays and 10 to 4 on Sundays. 250 362 5688

What is included in the rental?
The bicycle and a helmet are included in the rental. You should also take the flat repair kit and a mini tool if you have the skills to use them. Free maps are available as well and a map book is also available for $20

What else do I need?
Water (bottle or hydration pack) is highly recommended. Gloves are a good idea as well as some glasses to protect your eyes from mud, sticks and bugs is also recommended. Riding with a buddy or at the very least, letting someone know where you are going and when you expect to be back is good practice as is bringing your cell phone in case you get lost or have another problem.

How do I find the trails?
Rossland’s extensive trail network is well marked out in the woods. The maps are very good and if you have a smart phone, the ‘Trailforks’ app is a great tool that will act as a GPS to help you see exactly where you are. The town of Rossland is literally surrounded by trails and you can pedal to various trailheads right from the shop.

Which bike should I rent?
We have two levels of bikes. The 26″ wheeled Giant Trance’s are fine for inexperienced riders who will be travelling slower and expect less out of their bikes. The 27.5″ Trance’s are a higher performance bike which are lighter with better componentry and features like a hydraulically adjustable seatpost.

What’s so great about Fat Biking?
They are great fun to ride on almost any trail, any time of the year. Thanks to their versatility and ability to conquer any terrain, they are fast becoming an all season choice. The wide, low pressure tires provide a lot of cushion and traction. Take a spin and you’ll see why they are such a ‘big’ deal!

Do your Fat Bikes have gears?
Yes, a single 24 T chainring on the cranks paired with 10 speeds at the back.
