Arrow Lakes Winter Fishing
Cost: $800 ($200 per person)
Duration: 6–7 Hour Troll
Available: November – April
Join Wayne Briggeman, our #1 Arrow Lake guide with over 40 years of local fishing knowledge and experience. Cruising in our 23 ft Alumaweld all-weather boat, you can winter troll for large rainbows and bull trout. Techniques will include trolling plugs with downriggers to allow us to get down to the feeding zones and the home of the large fish. We also have some trade secrets that work consistently on the success ratio of landing larger fish.
We will pick you up at the Sandman Inn Parking Lot in Castlegar, or alternatively you can meet us at Scotties Marina on the Arrow Lake. Duration of the trip is based on 8 hrs starting at 7:30 AM.
Lunch can be provided for an additional $15 and can be tailored to specific dietary needs (this can be confirmed with your guide ahead of time).
Trips will include all fishing equipment, but exclude fishing licences. These can be purchased separately here: www.fishing.gov.bc.ca
Advanced Booking Requirement

Written Cancellation Policy
Guests will incur a $150 cancellation fee per booking if cancelled within 1 week of trip date.

You may buy as many One Day and Eight Day Licenses as you need, but only one Annual License.
Annual licenses are valid for the current license year, April 1 – March 31, commencing on date purchased.

What species of fish should I expect to catch?
We specialize in fly fishing for Rainbow Trout and Walleye along the Columbia River, but not limited to fly fishing only.
What is the peak season for fly fishing?
The Columbia River is fished year round; however we only take customers out during the prime months. We begin fishing in the last 2 weeks of March, and run through until the end of October.
What is the minimum and maximum amount of people allowed for tours?
Minimum is 1 person. The maximum is 8. There are always two anglers per boat, and larger groups are available upon special request.
I have never been fly fishing before. Are these tours a good place to learn?
All guided trips are designed to satisfy both the beginner and the experienced angler.
Do I need a fishing license?
Yes, you need to purchase a fishing licence prior to your trip. These can be purchased online at http://www.fishing.gov.bc.ca/
What is your fishing policy?
Full payment is required at the time of booking.
What is your cancellation policy?
There is a fee of $150 per booking for cancellations made within 1 week of the trip.
