An upper trough and its unstable airmass will provide unsettled conditions today. Clouds, sunny periods and a few flurries are all expected. Variable cloud and isolated flurries should linger into the early evening. An upper ridge of high pressure builds over the coast tonight and Thursday. Limited moisture embedded in the resulting northwesterly flow aloft should produce a mix of sun & cloud and a slight chance of flurries Thursday afternoon.
Currently near 1500 metres, between 1400 & 1700 metres this afternoon. Dropping to surface tonight and again Thursday night. Rising to between 1400 & 1600 metres Thursday afternoon.
