If you love RED Mountain Resort, then the 2020/21 Season Pass is for you. On top of unlimited, no blackout dates skiing, you enjoy great discounts and perks as a RED passholder. Get your Early Bird (March 15-April 30!) or Pre-Season (Starting May 1!) and save BIG until October 1st!

Season Pass Pick Up Procedure:

This winter season we have created an alternate Season Pass pick-up procedure for your safety and the safety of our staff in light of COVID-19. This schedule has dedicated dates and times where local area Pass Holders be required to collect their pass from RED’s Guest Services. For those that physically are able to, all passes will need to be picked up by Dec 5th, 2020. This will ensure the days leading up to and including Opening Day, December 12th, are as smooth and seamless as possible.

The pick up schedule is based on the initial of your Last Name:

  • A – G: Monday November 16 – Saturday November 21
  • H – N: Monday November 23 – Saturday November 28
  • O – Z: Monday November 30 – Saturday December 5
  • Note: If you have multiple family members/people with different last names, please pick up passes at one time, regardless of last name. Eg. Different last names starting with L and R? Choose either scheduled timeframe and show up together.

Waiver signing will be required by all pass holders 18yrs and older. Pass holders must be present to sign and pick up pass.

Guest Services Hours of Operation Starting Nov 14

  • Monday – Friday: 10am – 6:30pm
  • Saturday: 10am – 3pm
  • Tues & Wed Dec 8th & 9th: 8:30am – 8pm

PLEASE NOTE: Masks are REQUIRED when entering our building. Directional arrows will be in place for entry and exit of the building, and physical barriers will be in place at the counter area. Hand sanitizer will be provided upon entry, and increased sanitization procedures will be in place. There will be no offsite pick up locations this season. All passes will need to be collected from RED’s Guest Services.

All prices subject to 5% GST. Family Pass and Family Maximum must include at least one Adult pass. Parent Pass: Must have at least one child 12 years or younger; either parent can use pass, but not at the same time. Adult students are not included in the Family Maximum but can be added to a Family Maximum for $389 plus tax each. Adult student must be the son or daughter of the pass holder.

    • Due to current COVID-19 restrictions allowing NDCU only offering their payment plan to current members, RED is happy to announce our own 5-installment plan for Early Bird Season Passes available now until April 30th! The terms are as follows:
      • Five equal payments, interest-free, commencing with the first payment on or before April 30th (the Early Bird Season Pass deadline) and equal installments due at the end of May, June, July, and August, 2020.
      • You will be notified by email a few days prior to the due date of each installment with a link provided to make your online payment.
      • No season pass(es) will be issued unless each monthly installment is received on time and full payment has been received by the end of August.
      • A $25.00 administration fee will be added to the entire transaction (not to each pass or other product purchased).
      • If a payment is missed, participant must contact RED Mountain Resort in writing, by email, explaining why payment was missed. Such cases will be reviewed by RED with the goal of getting full payment by the end of August so the passes can be issued in the fall. There will be a $25 late payment fee per incident.
      • Refunds for incomplete plan payments will be made no sooner than 30 days after the program has ended (i.e., after September 30th).
      • This offer is good until April 30th, the same deadline as the Early Bird Season Pass.

Season Pass Insurance/Refund Policy

2020/21 Season Pass On Sale Now! »

There are no refunds of season passes with no exceptions, unless Season Pass insurance is purchased. Season Pass insurance is a pro-rated refund plan that is available for $25 per pass, with a $5 discount for each additional pass up to 3 passes. The Refundable Pass Option must be purchased concurrently with the season pass. Without the Refundable Pass Option, season passes are NON-REFUNDABLE.

LIMITS OF COVERAGE:

Refundable Pass Option coverage is limited to the following events: 1. Injury, illness or death of an insured that prevents participation in snowboarding or skiing. 2. Transfer by the passholder’s current employer necessitating a change of residence outside a reasonably accessible radius of Red Mountain Resort- provided that the date of the transfer is at least 45 days after the purchase of the season pass, and that RED Mountain Resort is advised within 15 days of notification by the employer. Available only to permanent residents of Canada or the United States. The Refundable Pass Option fee is $25.00 for the first passholder and reduced by $5.00 for each passholder thereafter, to a maximum of $60.00. An administrative fee of $25.00 will be applied for refund processing. REFUNDS WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED WHEN THE REFUNDABLE PASS OPTION HAS BEEN PURCHASED.

EXEMPTIONS TO COVERAGE:

The Refundable Pass Option does not cover losses: 1. Caused, or contributed to, by intentional self-injury. 2. Due to emotional disorders or pre-existing conditions unless the passholder is hospitalized. 3. Due to any injury or illness that does not prevent participation in snow sports. 4. Due to acts of God, fire, vandalism, labour disputes, weather conditions or mechanical failures.

CONDITIONS:

1. Refundable Pass Option must be purchased concurrently with the season pass. 2. RED Mountain Resort must be notified and the season pass surrendered within 5 days of non-participation. 3. Refundable Pass Option coverage does not include any equipment, locker rentals, or locker contents.

PRESENTING A CLAIM:

1. Claims must be made in writing to RED Mountain Resort. 2. The following must be included: 1)The season pass 2) A physician’s report including: a) A complete diagnosis b) The date of first medical treatment c) A prognosis, including a statement that insured is unable to ski or snowboard. 3) In the event of job transfer, a letter from the employer within 15 days of notification of the transfer.

Since we sent out our email on April 7th, we’ve had a few questions regarding season passes for the upcoming 2020/21 season. Below you’ll find our answers to 4 of the most common questions thus far. If you have a question that you do not see an answer to, please feel free to fill out the form at the bottom of this page and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.

What happens if RED doesn’t open next season or is closed part way through the season due to the Covid-19 pandemic?

In the event that the Resort is unable to open at for the 2020/21 ski season, passholders would have their season passes credited in full for the following season and not be subject to any potential price increases.

If the government were to shut down the ski industry during the ski season, we will make every effort to keep RED viable as a business and at the same time do our very best to protect all our pass holders and other guests. Whether this means refunding season passes in whole or part or offering credits towards the next season would depend on the timing of any industry shut-down.

What about international guests prevented from traveling to RED due to government restrictions on air travel and/or border crossings?

Effective immediately, if restrictions are in place that prevent our international guests from visiting RED, you can get a credit for the following season, or a refund if preferred.

What are the ways I can currently purchase my season pass?

You can still buy your 2020/21 season pass online, by phone (250-362-7384 ext. 201) or by mail using a cheque or credit card number. (Please don’t mail cash.) If your only method of payment is by debit card or cash, RED’s Guest Services will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday until April 30th. Please observe all social distancing and hand sanitizing protocols if you must buy in person. You can download the application online here.
