2026 BC Winter Games at RED

February 25 – March 1

Held every two years, the BC Winter Games are a multi-sport competition that showcases British Columbia’s top emerging athletes. The Games celebrate sport, community, and development — helping young competitors take the next step toward higher levels of competition.

In 2026, Rossland and Trail are proud co-hosts, with four major events taking place right here at RED Mountain.

Freestyle — Moguls

Date: Friday, February 27
Location: T-Bar
Competition Time: Approx. 10:00am–4:00pm (final schedule to be confirmed)

Where to watch:
Watch the action from the RED deck, or ride the T-Bar to the finish corral at mid-station.

Alpine — Slalom

Date: Friday, February 27
Location: Back Trail
Competition Time: Approx. 10:00am–4:00pm (final schedule TBC)

Where to watch:
Watch the action from the RED deck, or take Red Chair up to Back Trail and follow signage to the finish corral.

Freestyle — Slopestyle

Date: Saturday, February 28
Location: Madhouse (Topping area)
Competition Time: Approx. 10:00am–4:00pm (final schedule TBC)

Where to watch:
Ski and snowboard access only. Ride Topping Chair to Madhouse to view the competition.

Alpine — Giant Slalom

Date: Saturday, February 28
Location: Back Trail
Competition Time: Approx. 10:00am–4:00pm (final schedule TBC)
