Athlete and ambassador

This is the first year we’ve opened up both an Athlete Team and a brand new Ambassador Team for applications. If you love RED Bike Park and you’re here all summer anyway, you might as well make it official. This mountain is nothing without its people. We’re looking for the ones who already know that.
Athlete Team
You’re a competitive or high-level rider who uses RED as your home base. You’re sending it, progressing, and RED is where all of that happens. We want to support that and give you a platform while we’re at it.
Ambassador Team
You don’t have to be the fastest rider, you just have to love it here and not be shy about showing it. Photographers, content creators, families, weekend warriors, professional amateurs, first-year riders who caught the bug hard – if you’re the one in your group who’s always getting the shot or hyping everyone up to come back next weekend, this one’s for you.

Your side of the deal
(what we’re asking in return)
Ride Your Bike and Share It! —Throughout the season you’ll deliver content from the mountain for use on RED’s social media accounts and participate in specific resort events and photoshoots.
Athletes
Athletes will participate in at least 2 professional shoot days (photo or video) and will be responsible for capturing monthly content deliverables on their own time*.
Ambassadors
Ambassadors should expect to participate in 2-4 content shoot days plus capture monthly content deliverables on their own time.
*Riders under 19 on the Athlete Team may have modified social media expectations that reflect their comfort level. Our focus is on supporting growth and development. Any additional social content is a bonus, not a requirement.
Who can apply?
- Residents of Rossland, Trail, Castlegar, or the surrounding West Kootenay communities.
- Anyone planning to ride the RED Bike Park consistently throughout the summer.
- Comfortable on camera and willing to have their photo/video content used across RED’s marketing channels (social media, website, advertising, etc.)
- All ages (6+), backgrounds, and riding styles are encouraged to apply — from first laps to lifelong riders
