Hello Friends and pass holders,

Normally, I do not write the introduction to our Early Bird Pass sale programs, however, I thought it would be important to share a few personal thoughts with you. All of us from management, pass holders, destination visitors and people of our community have suffered through a painful winter. According to some, the worst in 42 years. However, with the skill and determination of our staff we have been able to maintain a good ski experience, short those wonderful powder days that we so sorely miss for nearly the entire season. We have faired well in comparison to most other resorts in the west and we have entertained many customers from Rossland and afar with a great overall experience.

As you all know, we are not a “Big Corporate” ski resort but a privately held community resort. We aim to continue to provide improvements to our resort. Such as the Grey Mountain expansion and The Legacy Training Centre. We will be finishing the snow making to the top of Red this summer. The Back Trail snow making system will facilitate snow for future ensured opening and operation of The Legacy Training Centre.

Your loyalty to the resort has been nothing short of amazing for the last 68 years, and as you all know, the purchasing of a season pass is important for our sustainability and we hope, notwithstanding the season as a whole, that you will continue to support your mountain.

Therefore, in hopes of easing the pain as well as encouraging younger generations and families to continue skiing and riding together, we have done the following as a thank you for your loyalty. We will be slashing our Youth Early Bird passes by 46% from $550 to just $299. Junior Early Bird Passes passes will also be reduced by 57% from $350 to just $149. In addition, College Student Early Bird passes will be reduced from $550 to $399. The $399 price will be in effect until September 30, 2015. Finally, Adult, Parent and Senior Couple Early Bird prices remain the same for the third straight year.

RED Mountain Resort’s Early Bird season passes will go on sale from March 14th to April 30th 2015. You can save $300, ski free for the remainder of the year, and of course our interest free financing is still available at the Nelson and District Credit Union – Rossland Branch. These interest-free pass loans are available beginning April 1st thru April 17th 2015 only. We will also maintain all of the great discounts for pass holders at Piste Off, ski lessons and lift tickets at other resorts.
