The RED Mountain Bike Park is proud to host the final stop of the Dunbar BC Cup series September 4th to 6th. Watch top riders from across the province take on RED’s rugged terrain, technical features, and fast descents as they battle for podium spots and series points.

Dreadhead – Dunbar Series BC Cup Finals
A legendary piece of Rossland downhill history is back from the dead. Dreadhead has long held a place in Rossland’s mountain bike lore—a raw, technical track from an earlier era of downhill racing that has been resurrected and refreshed for the Dunbar Series BC Cup, September 6.
Steep, rugged and unapologetically old-school, Dreadhead serves up the kind of natural terrain that put Rossland riding on the map. Brought back to life specifically for the BC Cup, this historic track will once again see racers between the tape as some of the province’s fastest riders take on a true Rossland classic.
Dreadhead Course Closure
Please note that Dreadhead will remain closed until the Dunbar Series BC Cup event window, September 4–6.
Our trail crew will be working on the course in the lead-up to race weekend, with ongoing trail maintenance, course enhancements, flagging and event preparation taking place throughout the closure.
For the safety of our crews and riders—and to ensure the course is in prime condition for race weekend—we ask everyone to respect all closures, signage and barriers and stay off Dreadhead until it officially opens for the event.
