The Game Rail Jam Recap

Despite the wet weather, this year’s Rail Jam popped off as the hoard of shredders attacked the features on Queen St in Downtown Rossland. RED’s new terrain park crew built a course that was bigger and better than ever. Skiers and snowboarders of all ages slipped ‘n slided down the rails, while spectators cheered and gasped from the sidelines. Oh, and we can’t forget the wild bunch who had the courage to try their hand at hitting features on snow skates. Congrats to all the rippers that topped the podium and a big thanks to our sponsors and friends at The Shop that helped make this event possible.

Battle Of The Brews Recap

There were plenty of hoppy faces at the 3rd Battle of the Brews Event in Rafters. The two time champs – Rossland Beer Co, came on strong serving their classic Red Zeppelin Raspberry Wheat Ale. But it couldn’t compete with Tailout Brewings Limited Release, Bluebird Hazy Session IPA. Crowned the Kootenays’ King of Beers, there were lots of cheers and only a few tears! Thank you to Wild North, Torchlight and Steamworks Breweries for coming out! And don’t forget the amazing tunes and endless energy from the Karli Harrison Band! As Tailout would say, be kind and tight lines, until next time!
