There were sausages in the air, kegs everywhere and all the folks without a care at the first ever Läter Höser - RED Canadian Oktoberfest! Games galore, traditional German fare and breweries to boot! Thanks to all our sponsors and to everyone who came out to enjoy the first ever RED Oktoberfest...and yes we know it was in September. Check out the video and photos of the madness!
As a destination resort, RED Mountain, B.C. attracts guests year after year because of its unmatched terrain and laidback vibe. Well, now RED has a new destination on-hill to share that vibe: the not-yet-named, 90-person capacity base area station adjacent to our newest chair, Topping Creek.
On June 27-28th competitors from the TransBC Enduro have been riding the trails at RED as part of the race that is labeled “the hardest enduro race in the world!” Thanks to all the riders and to TransBC for riding the trails of RED in this epic race of strength, endurance and stamina. We wish you good luck on your next leg of the race in Nelson and hope to see you next year for this vicious cycle! Until then, check out the photos that were captured during the race!
We uncorked RED Teeth: A Mountain Wine Festival for the 4th round, right here in the beautiful Kootenay Mountains on June 18th! Luckily, it didn't rain but 16 local wineries did make it pour for 400+ wine drinkers. Paired with great food, good friends, and groovy tunes there is no riesling about it - we were stoked to have this event back. A big thanks to all the wineries for coming out. A big thank you to everyone that came out and competed in our first ever Five Fridays Cycle Series! The races were a doozy with all the competitors kicking butt on Paydirt, Gold Digger, Redhead & Dragon Tail! We are constantly amazed at the level of talent we see around the resort. A huge congrats to Dorian DeBruyn, Katie Spittlehouse, and Max Nutini for taking out the U16, Women, and Men divisions respectively. Check out the full rankings & recap videos!
