RED Mountain Resort is proud to be part of the Ikon Pass community, giving Ikon Pass holders access to one of Canada’s most uncrowded and authentic ski experiences.
Ikon Pass holders will have access to seven days at RED with no blackout dates, and Ikon Base Pass holders will have access to five days, with select blackout dates. Ikon Session Pass holders will have access to 2, 3 or 4 days depending on your pass with select blackout dates.
No mega-resort vibes here. Just big terrain (3,850 acres of it), cold smoke Kootenay pow, and a real ski town atmosphere in Rossland, British Columbia.

Friends & Family Save 25% Off 50% Off at RED
From January 20th until the end of the season, Ikon Pass holders can share the gift of RED with a 50% discount for friends and family. Each Ikon Passholder receives 12 Friends & Family Vouchers, which can be accessed through your Ikon Pass account.
How It Works
- Ikon Pass holders log into My Account on ikonpass.com to view their Friends & Family discounts.
- For redemption at RED Mountain, do not click “Claim” online.
- Friends and Family discounts can be redeemed onsite at the Ticket Window or Guest Services.
- Ikon Passholders do not need to be present for redemption, but guests must provide the name of the Ikon Passholder who will be providing the voucher.

Ikon Pass FAQ
Is my Ikon Pass direct-to-lift?
Yes! Your Ikon Pass is direct-to-lift. No need to stop by Guest Services, just ski up to the gate and head on the lift.
I’m visiting RED Mountain Resort as my first destination. Can I pick up my Ikon Pass there?
Yes! If you don’t yet have your Ikon Pass, you can pick it up directly at the Ticket Window at RED Mountain Resort. Please bring a copy of your Ikon Pass order confirmation (digital or printed) along with a valid photo ID.
Do my Friends & Family discounted tickets work at RED?
Yes! But they must be redeemed onsite at the outside ticket window. They currently cannot be done through your Ikon Pass account.
Are there blackout dates at RED on my Ikon Pass?
Standard blackout dates apply for the 5-day Ikon Base Pass:
Dec 27, 2025 – Dec 31, 2025
Jan 17, 2026 – Jan 18, 2026
Feb 14, 2026 – Feb 15, 2026
