Who’s ready to pawww-ty at the 5th Annual Wiener Takes All Dog Race! Does your dog have what it takes to be crowned the winning weenie?

This year we’re shifting into high gear with our Furmula 1 theme — where the zoomies are fast, the tails are aerodynamic, and every pup is racing for the coveted title of Top Weenie on the Podium. Does your dog have what it takes to claim the checkered flag?

From lightning-fast low riders to the “wide turn specialists,” we’ve got heats for every racing style:

• Pups 1 & under
• Senior sweethearts
• Tiny titans under 15 lbs
• Racing dogs
• Our lovable “extra traction” division

…and more! Because at Wiener Takes All, every pup deserves their lap around the track.

HOW IT WORKS:

• Dogs will race in heats according to size and breed
• Top 2 dogs from each heat will advance to the finals for a shot at being crowned Top Dog! Old Yellers and Underdogs win their own category prizes!
• The race venue will be fully fenced-in, dogs must be on leash until they are in the race corral
• Hot dogs and Yellow Dog Beers served on the deck (not included in ticket cost)
• No dogs in the lodge or Rafters (sorry), but dogs love the outdoors, and the deck is A-OK!

Exciting prizes await at the dog race!
Participants will have the chance to score amazing goodies, including prize packs filled with treats, snacks, wet food, and boosters. There will be gift baskets, gift cards, and exclusive sample packs for our furry friends.

No matter what, every pup and their human are in for a treat!

Rossland is known for its love of four-legged friends, and this event is proof that our town runs on kibble and community spirit. Don’t miss the most paw-pular race of the season.

Date: March 28, 2026
Check-in: 2-3pm at the base area in front of Rentals at RED
MANDATORY Racer Meeting: 3:45pm in front of RED MTN Snow School
First Race Starts: 4:15pm (race timing and number of heats will depend on number of pups entered)
Doggy Bags: Each pup will receive an official Wiener Takes All x Pet Valu race bandana, Petcurean snacks, poop bags and treats!

$35 to enter.

Early check-in for your pup will be available at Rossland Outdoor on Thursday, March 26 from 3–6 pm. Stop by to pick up your race kit and skip the line on event day.
