Opening Day Updates

Big news! Our on-mountain Operations and Patrol teams have been working tirelessly these last few days to allow us to officially announce the set Opening Day of the 2023/24 season! We will be kicking off the first day of the season this Thursday, December 28th with the Magic Carpet Carpet, Silverlode, Motherlode, and Paradise Chairs spinning. We cannot stress enough how important it is to understand that current early-season conditions on the mountain require all guests to stick to our designated & groomed runs. Natural hazards - both marked and unmarked - very much exist right now. Check our Snow Report & our social channels Thursday morning for the release of what runs will officially be open to start the season. In terms of available terrain, please note that Motherlode Chair will only be intended as access between Paradise and the lower mountain. A few other important things to know starting Thursday... Our free Rossland to RED shuttle will be kicking off Thursday morning! View & download the schedule here Lift tickets will be 30% off at the ticket window until further notice Paradise Lodge will be open w/ regular hours from 10am - 2:30pm Come join us in Rafters for the first aprės and No Shower Happy Hour of the season! Open at 11am - 6pm with No Shower Happy Hour kicking off at 2pm! Our Rental Shop (8am - 4pm) & Retail Store (8:30am - 4:30pm) will also be ready for ya if you need any last-minute tune-ups or outerwear before hopping on the chair! We can't wait to get this season started! Thank you all for your patience and be sure to shout out a HUGE thank you to our on-mountain teams (all those lifties included!) when you see them for making this all possible! Between The Peaks Recap

The inaugural Between the Peaks Mountain Music Fest on September 15th and 16th hosted right at the base of RED Mountain Resort in Rossland, BC was hailed as a major success not just for the town of Rossland but for the region as a whole, celebrating live music in the outdoors. This 2-day music festival with an attendance of close to 2,000 total festival goers, hosted 16 bands on 2 stages, and served up a variety of amazing food vendors, beers, ciders, and cocktails, all with the beautiful backdrop of RED Mountain Resort’s Red and Granite peaks. Off-Season Lift Maintenance Underway. Stay Clear.

An important reminder that please – for your safety and everyone else’s safety – stay clear of RED’s lift equipment (including chairs, towers/terminals/foundations, and load/unload ramps.) This includes not crossing fencing around terminals; as any of the lifts may start moving without warning (yes, for real!). Lift terminals ARE under video surveillance. This also helps tremendously to avoid strain on any outside resources in the event of an incident.

2nd Annual Wiener Takes All Recap

We had a dog-gone good time for the Second Annual Wiener Takes All Dog Race! Over 105 fired-up pups ran in the race of a lifetime. It was a day full of furry friendly fun with Yugen - a german shepherd/belgian malinois mix taking the crown. Thanks to our amazing sponsors House of Paws, Rex Specs and Jaydlyn Joan Artistry.
