Sending off the season in style!

April 3 – 5

Cowabunga dudes and dudettes! While we’re sad we can’t do our usual Slush Cup and Retro Day deck party this spring, we still wanted to bring down the house retro-style one last time to end the season. So, it’s time to jump into those Hot Tub Time Machines and get totally gnarly. We are bringing it back to the days of one-pieces, neon, turtlenecks, and whatever else is on your throwback wishlist for the RED Retro Weekend!

We’ve got some radical prizes from Pit Viper and Vans for the most bodacious get-ups. Getting yours is easy: Dig up your finest bygone fashions for April 3rd to 5th (closing day); shred that fun slush; shoot some savage selfies; forget about the worries of the modern world for a few days. Remember, as the great Fitz Fitzgerald said in the classic film Ski School, “Skiing is partying, partying is skiing.” Fitz was wise beyond his years.

Don’t forget: Submit your best Retro photos via Facebook or Instagram (posts and stories!) with the tags @redresort and #REmountain for your chance to WIN those primo prizes! Winners will be announced at the end of each day (April 3 – 5) on our Instagram and Facebook Stories!

Please, more than anything, enjoy your RED Retro Day responsibly and continue to stay in your own light-blue eye-shadowed bubbles, follow our COVID protocol, and follow the PHO recommendations and guidelines as we finish up our season in style.

PLUS: A Visit From the Shredding Easter Bunny!

From 11am to 2pm, the actual, real-life Easter Bunny will be shredding RED’s slopes on Easter Sunday, April 4th, 2021. Spot him and get your chocolate egg and make your mouth happy.

New for 2021: After months-long talks with the Easter Bunny’s agent and PR team, RED has agreed to institute a new policy—at the Easter Bunny’s insistence—that we no longer refer to our most child-friendly terrain as “the bunny slope.” Mad Easter Bunnies don’t lay chocolate eggs, okay? We thank you in advance for your continued cooperation with our Kootenay coterie of difficult holiday animals and mascots.
